Kevin Tomlinson, UK improviser and actor.

Kevin Tomlinson co-founded Kepow Theatre Company (with Paul Jenkins) in 1991. Since then he has won numerous awards including; the Sunday Times Playwright Award and the Rose Bruford Trust Directors Award.

From 1998 onwards Kevin's focus has been on masks and improvisation. In New Zealand, The Times called his first improvisation show 'On The Edge': "excellent...a must see show!".

For the past decade Kevin has also worked extensively with Keith Johnstone - author of 'Impro' and creator of 'Theatresports' - both in Canada and the UK.

In 1999 he performed alongside the cast of 'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' in the Royal Court Theatre show 'Micestro' for charity; directed by Keith Johnstone and Phellim McDermott. In 2002, he took the lead role in Keith's absurdist play 'Damien' at the Garrick Theatre in Calgary (directed by the author).

Kepow's current show 'Seven Ages' (created with Keith's help) received 5 star reviews at the Edinburgh Festival and a standing ovation on the last night. It has since gone on to be seen all over the UK and abroad.
