Actor, Director, Writer


Kevin Tomlinson is an actor, director and writer, who trained extensively with; Philippe Gaulier, Desmond Jones, Clive Barker, John Wright and at the Royal Court Theatre International Summer School. He has also worked extensively and been a close collaborator with Keith Johnstone (famous author of Impro), for over two decades both in Canada and the UK.

He is soon to appear in Beneath the Blue Rinse and The Answer at The Park Theatre, London: 21 May - 15 June 2019. Previous to this, he appeared in the emotional thriller Spiral also at the Park.







Kevin has worked extensively with Keith Johnstone - author of IMPRO - in Canada. A particular highlight being: performing the lead role in two of Keith's plays (directed by the author himself) at the Loose Moose Theatre in Calgary, Canada. He also had the privilege of directing the world premiere of a couple of Keith's plays at the Garrick Theatre in Calgary.

Kevin has been a regular contributor to the work of the National Theatre Studio and National Theatre Education Department. 


As an actor, Kevin trained on the Acting Course at Middlesex University (led by John Wright) and then at the Ecole Philippe Gaulier; before spending a year at the Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre.


He gained his Equity card by working as an actor at the Northampton Royal Theatre and then worked with Trestle Theatre Company, Trading Faces, Told by an Idiot and numerous other touring companies. He has performed all over the world including: Hong Kong, America, New Zealand, Canada, Holland, Norway, Germany, France, Singapore, South Korea, Bali, United Arab Emirates and Hawaii.
